Ann Marie Bourne's involvement in the Embroidery Industry commenced in 1960. With time, the customer base expanded necessitating the introduction of electronic embroidery machines.

Today, the business has many multi-head, multi-needle machines. Multiple machines incorporating mutiple needles allows AMB Embroidery to maintain production schedules and greater reliability compared to operators with lesser machines incorporating fewer needles.

AMB has also diversified into overlocking, the application of reflective stripping, embroidery design digitising and applying heat sealed transfers. AMB also has facilities to manufacture shirts for customers requiring special orders.
